| Description of World: [OC APPLICATIONS ONLY] Since you are making up the world your character is from, give us the basic run-down of what it's like there. Again, doesn't have to be a novel, but as there is no wiki for us to reference we need to know what kind of environment your character is coming from. Please fill this out even if you are applying for a character from an already established world. Background: Just a brief background on your character. Doesn't have to be a novel, but longer than a few sentences makes it easier to process. For canon characters you may link a wiki article or other website in lieu of writing up your character’s background if you would like. If you are applying for an AU version of a character, you may link to the canon background for reference, however you will be required to also give us a write up of your character’s AU background. Personality: Describe what your character is like. This needs to be more than just a list of character traits or likes and dislikes. And it needs to be more than just one paragraph. Difference from Canon: [AU APPLICATIONS ONLY] How is this character different from the original version? Abilities/Additional Notes: List information about any abilities your character may have or anything else you feel is important for us to know about the character. Wikipedia article links may be accepted in addition to your own written summary of abilities if your character has an extensive list of abilities that require precise and or extensive description. For example video game characters that have long lists of attacks. Advocate Note: Do you want your character to be an advocate? Let us know here along with a short reason why. |

| You may use previously completed threads or posts from the Test Drive Community, other games, or private RPs so long as they were started within the last three months. Samples do not need to take place in the setting of 3Step, however they should accurately show your muse's characterization. Sample Network Post: A sample of a journal entry by your character in FIRST PERSON POV, should be more than two sentences. Please format according to the games "journals": The settings for your 3STP are Text, Voice and Video. A post can be intentional or accidental (according to your character's understanding of technology) and is broadcast-ed over the entire network. The first post is always Unfiltered and view-able to everyone. Sample RP: A 3rd person RP sample. Show us how you can play your character! Any existing 3rd-person rp is usable for this so long as we see their personality |
| Companion Application |
| Companions are any creature, living weapon, or annoying fairy that your character can simply not live without. Generally they should not have enough information provided in their canon to be apped as a character on their own. This will be looked at as a case-by-case basis and handled by the mods and players accordingly. Companion Name: The companion's name, or how they are referred to by your character. Relationship to Character: Is the companion your character's animal friend? Or are they a suit of living armor that snarks and back talks to your character? Companion’s Personality: Describe what your character's companion is like. This needs to be more than just a list of character traits or likes and dislikes. And it needs to be more than just one paragraph. Companion’s Abilities/Additional Notes: List information about any abilities your character’s companion may have or anything else you feel it is important for us to know about the character. Companion’s Sample Journal Post: A sample of a journal entry by your character’s companion in first person POV, should be more than two sentences. Companions do not receive 3STPs of their own, however they are welcome to use your character's 3STP, if they are able, in order to communicate on the network. |
